Kingshot is all about managing your Resources to create the best base and armies as you can. However, when first starting out as a beginner player, there’s a lot to learn and manage with so much to keep track of. There’s upgrading your Town Hall and Troops, collecting Hero Shards, understanding Gems and Stamina management, and so much more. Here’s a beginner’s guide on how to best organize yourself and your Resources when first starting out on Kingshot.
💎 Can’t I Just Use Gems for Everything?
Technically yes, you could, but it would get very expensive very fast! When you first start out in Kingshot, you’ll be given a starting amount of Gems early on. However, you don’t want to use these on the first thing you see! To get the most out of your Gems, focus on using them for Hero Roulette Events and VIP XP. Want some more Gems right now? The Hero Roulette Events are essential to participate in every 7th day of server launch. This is because it’s one of the best ways to get Heroes and Hero Shards without having to spend a lot of money. For about a hundred and sixty thousand Gems you can get about a hundred and twenty Hero Spins on the Roulette Wheel. When you are just starting out in the game, or even if you’re a veteran player, this is huge! You’re almost guaranteed a lot of Hero Shards with this amount to boost your army strength very early.
As for the VIP XP, you can purchase these with Gems for some Construction speed bonuses or others to help you build your Kingdom. However, it’s recommended to buy these when you have a lot of Gems leftover unless you really need something built fast. To earn more Gems, you should focus on completing as many Daily Quests as possible. The rewards may seem low, but they build up over time and are worth doing!
⚡ Managing Your Stamina for Events
Your Governor’s Stamina is necessary for joining Rallies, Hunting Monsters, and most importantly, participating in Events. Events in Kingshot are super important to be participating in. That’s because they often give special rewards even if you don’t win any of the challenges. This even includes the Daily Quests and Pet Treasure Hunts so you can get more Gems and other Resources.
At least one Stamina point recovers every 5 minutes, so it’s easy to check in your game every once in a while throughout the day. However, there’s also several ways to earn Stamina faster and more consistently as you progress. The Stash can actually refresh your Stamina twice throughout the day depending on your region’s time zone. Several Pets like the Lynx, or buildings like the Storehouse also have special abilities that restore Stamina if you’re really struggling for more.
✨ Using General Mythic Hero Shards Wisely
Besides managing your Basic Resources to actually expand your Kingdom, Mythic Hero Shards are one of the most important aspects of the game. As a beginner, this cannot be anymore true since this will directly dictate how fast you progress. How they work is they upgrade any of your current Heroes’ stats. However, with Generation 1-3 Heroes, these Shards are not worth using since they barely make a difference! Not only that, but you’ll want to save them for when you start getting stronger Generation 4-5 Heroes instead.
You’ll also want to typically redeem 4-Star pulls. When a Hero reaches the 4-Star threshold, it automatically unlocks all their special Skills and abilities. You can still upgrade past this, but the number 4 is your lucky number you wanna keep in mind. Also, make sure you plan your pulls carefully. Spend them on Heroes you actually want and save your Shards for Heroes you’ll actually use!
🔨 Gear Upgrade Materials
Besides Hero Shards, upgrading a Hero’s Gear will also help increase certain stats, especially their Defense! However, you don’t want to upgrade their Gear immediately when you can afford it. Gear can become expensive later on to get and upgrade, so you wanna save those materials for when the time is right. Also, once again, use those materials on Heroes you plan to use, preferably Generation 4-5 picks.
The best time to upgrade a Hero’s Gear is during limited Events. Doing so will help you rank-up during said Events and unlock some exclusive rewards by completing their quests that require upgrading Gear. Also, limited time Events often have discounts on Gear materials and others, so it saves you a lot on those resources.
🏃 When Should You Use Speedups?
When you have Construction or Research Speedups that help you expand your Kingdom, use them whenever possible. As a beginner player, this’ll help you progress faster and they’re the most common Speedup to come across. The only Speedups you really wanna manage carefully are for Troops training and Universal Speedups. These are not only rarer, but are worth using when upgrading during special, competitive Events.
